PW Covington is the national Beat Poetry Foundation's current Beat Poet laureate of New Mexico (2024-2026). Covington has spent decades traveling the highways of North America, sharing his writing and encouraging the creativity of others. In 2019, the International Book Awards named his collection North Beach and Other Stories a Finalist in LGBTQ Fiction. PW lives just south of Historic Route 66 in Albuquerque, where he has worked on film and television productions including Better Call Saul and The Cleaning Lady. His latest collection of poetry, Vintage Denim, is available from Alien Buddha Press.
